Pages 48- 51 are a little stained at the foot. 88 pps. Delightful fairy tales for boys and girls of all ages.

This is an "Alice" parody about a visit by a girl called Winnie Churchill to the House of Lords.

4to. Nd. but there is an ownership inscription dated 1886 and a previous owner has written "" in pencil as the date of the book. The book bears the bookplate of Eric Quayle (who wrote "The Collectors' Book of Children's Books"). A good copy with some browning/foxing affecting mainly the first and last few pages. The boards are worn at the edges. 48 pages with charming colour illustrations by the author on each page.
