Hardback. Nd. [1942]. A very good copy in orange cloth. Some fading to spine but gilt lettering remains readable. Bookplate of the author and poet, Maurice Lindsay on front fixed end-paper. Small gift inscription (possibly from Maurice Lindsay) on front free end-paper. 35 pages. Adam Drinan was the pseudonym of Joseph MacLeod. Loosely inserted is a postcard with MacLeod's name and address printed on it. An extract from "The Scotsman" of 14 May 1953 is pasted on it explaining that "Adam Drinan" was Joseph MacLeod. There is also a hand-written ink note on the card from MacLeod (signed "Joseph") and presumably intended for Lindsay.
