Besly Maurice - The Second Minuet

Hardback. 4to. Overall a good copy in the original boards. These show wear to the edges, some dye from the red cloth spine has leeched onto the lower board and the lower board has a five inch crack (and a small corner crack) although these are fairly superficial and do not affect the book internally. There is also a four inch crack to the front fixed end-paper although this is not very obvious externally. Gift inscription from 1937 on front fixed end-paper. Pictorial front cover. Internally the book is very good. 37 pages. Title page vignette and seven full-page black and white illustrations by Swedish artist, Einar Nerman. Foreword by Alec Waugh. Scarce.
